Statecraft
A strategic life-and-society sandbox set in a recognisable Nigerian world. Decide what matters, make a few consequential commitments, and watch a particular life take shape in a world that does not wait.
The game
A particular life, shaped by choices and the world around it
You decide what matters
There is no universal story and no victory route. Stability, family, craft, money, public life, influence or simply getting through the month: you choose what this person is trying to do.
A world that does not wait
Time runs while you play, and you can pause, speed up or slow down. Other people and organisations keep working, hiring, spending and deciding whether or not you are looking.
Commitments, not chores
You choose the job, the home, the budget and the promises. Ordinary life follows from them: no clicking to eat, sleep, commute or clock in.
Setbacks you can recover from
Losing work or running short of money is a situation, not a game over. Recovery comes from the world itself: other work, people you know, cheaper places, renegotiation.
Set somewhere real
Statecraft takes place in a recognisable Nigerian world, with real places, prices in naira and the pressures that come with them.
Every life is a valid life
Business mogul, family pillar or public figure are ways to describe a life, not win screens. An ordinary, stable life counts too.
Development status
Building the economy first
A life is lived inside an economy, so that is where we started. We are building a full business and economic simulation: companies, finance, production, trade, land and rival firms that compete under the same rules as the player.
Work, family, politics and institutions come next, built on top of that foundation. The simulation is deterministic, so the same choices in the same world always lead to the same outcomes. There is no release date yet.
